Day 322 - entrepreneurial peanut butter
What's your favourite song with the words "beautiful day" in the title? There are loads of them! They're all not bad either. I listened to a few of them, Levellers, U2, Michael Buble. So hard to choose. And it was a beautiful day, kind of. Our car, The Fonz, has been out of action since we got a puncture last week. We couldn't change the tyre as the locking wheel nut thingy was missing. We had to get a new one ordered (they're well expensive! I recommend looking after yours). It wasn't due until Thursday but it showed up today. This meant that I could get the tyre changed so we could avoid travel problems over the next two days. Yay! I didn't like the bills but it was so nice to get the job sorted.
I could have named my PC today but as Name Your PC Day is copyrighted I avoided it. My PC is looking very upset about this.
For the first time this year I got excited as I thought that someone had actually read this blog and written about it. I was tagged in a Twitter post regarding Entrepreneurs' Day. But why me? It seemed to be an article about monetizing a blog. This is the point when I realised that maybe something was wrong as I haven't made a penny from this and I've been at it for 322 days! I tried looking for the article this afternoon to see what it was about but it seems to be missing, deleted? I'm guessing that the author tagged the wrong Mike Houghton, I'm @TheMikeHoughton as I'm sure you'll know if you've looked on my link (see the drop down menu!) Oh well, I still have 43 days of celebrating to make my millions.
The final celebration today was for Peanut Butter Fudge Day. My good lady wife bought some whilst outnin Liverpool on the weekend so I had sone to try. It was yummy, although no one else seemed to think the same. It was a bit like Reese's cups but without the chocolate. Is there anything that peanut butter can't do?
Tomorrow will be World Hello Day so make sure you get your waving hand ready!
