Day 139 - eat some strawberries I did, yes

Yesterday I picked some strawberries. Today I ate them with cream. It was Strawberries And Cream Day. Do you need to know any more than that?  The strawberries were fruity, the cream was creamy. We now have almost a pint of double cream left to work through. I think son 1 wants to try to make fudge with it.

I didn't celebrate Rapture Party Day. Do you remember that story about a cult all thinking that the end of the world was coming and having a party to say goodbye? Today was the anniversary of that party. Either we're all having a mass post-death hallucination or the world carried on. I suppose that the celebration was that we all survived (Yay!) but I don't really think that many of us thought there was much chance that the prediction would come true.

I found out this morning that it was also Talk Like Yoda Day. I'd have thought that this one would have been more widely known, especially with a Star Wars film currently at the cinema. I sent a tweet in Yoda speak but very few people picked up on it.

Hopefully tomorrow will be more interesting. It'll be World Goth Day so I might dig out my eyeliner. It's been a while.
