Day 19 - mmm... buttery

My button is bigger than your button.  He really said that didn't he? Or something like it. We are living in an age where instead of dealing with the bullies we vote them into office. It's only a matter of time before the missiles start flying. But what will save us? Tin cans. That's what. How to survive a  nuclear holocaust? By tinned food. So let us all say a collective "yay" on Tin Can Day. We opened a couple of Heinz tomato soup tins for tea (other soups are available) and kept the empties for NERF target practice.

Today was also Popcorn Day. I'm not a big fan of it to be honest,  whether sweet, salted or mixed it doesn't really do it for me. But cook it in a gallon of butter and we can talk. The popcorn soaks it up and gives it some real flavour. Admittedly it isn't as healthy but it tastes so much better. I finished the bowl. Yum.  I did find some recipes for adding different flavours and was going to try something spicy but the butter on its own was a winner. It didn't need anything else. Whoever thought about selling it in cinemas was a genius, it must have one of the highest mark ups around.

I did find a few other days to celebrate today but a little too late. Brew A Potion Day sounded fun. There are plenty tomorrow including Camcorder Day, must dig it out and charge it up over night. TTFN.
