Day 249 - star trek, but not as we know

My list of celebrations today ran off the page of my notebook. They were however all things which required proper effort such as Lacemaking Day. My day was taken up with taking the kids into town or driving around the Wirral. The only celebration I managed to squeeze in was Star Trek Day which consisted of buying a  Next Generation book from our local comic book store and discussing the merits if the new Jean-Luc Picard spin off with the man behind the counter.

I won't have time to celebrate anything else unless Dave Gorman accidentally starts talking about iguanas (I'm currently sat waiting for him to appear in stage, or his warm up act anyway). I'll try harder tomorrow!
