Day 191 - eating jello

Have you ever met anybody with different coloured eyes? Me neither. Apparently it's very rare. I've met somebody with a false eye but sensibly it was coloured the same as the other one. Today was Different Coloured Eyes Day and helpfully I'm reading a book where the main character has different coloured eyes. It's the second book in the Fever Crumb series and she is part human and part of another species which evolved from humans. In case you're wondering it's set in the future, you haven't missed anything. Having different coloured eyes got her into a lot of trouble in the first book but hopefully that isn't something which happens these days. Marilyn Manson sometimes goes with a different coloured  eyes look so I listened to one of his latest offerings to celebrate, a Beatles cover. Try it, you might like it.

To celebrate Etch A Sketch Day I downloaded an app and had a play. It's as hard to draw a picture on the app ask if is with the real thing. The app is free so give it a go, see if you can make a picture of anything other than a square!

There wasn't much scope for further celebration today. Two puddings in one day is maybe a little excessive so I skipped Pecan Pie Day and went with Eat Your Jello Day instead as I knew that would go down better with the kids. Jello is a trademarked product so we didn't actually eat Jello, instead we had some Hartleys Raspberry glitter jelly. It looks like unicorn food but is actually pretty tasty for jelly. As an aside, the rock band Green Jelly put an umlaut over the y to pronounce it as jello as they weren't allowed to use Jello due to the aforementioned trademark. Interesting eh?
