Day 282 - the best pizza ever!

Just the one celebration for you today... but it's a good'un,  and a twofer to boot. I managed to mix Sausage Pizza Day with  Southern Food Appreciation Day. It started with a tomato and herb wrap. Upon this I spread sone tomato puree and then added some Mississippi sweet and smoky sauce (therein lies the southern food element). This is where the curveball comes in, Shropshire Blue cheese instead of mozzarella. Sliced frankfurters makes up the sausage element but the piece de resistance was shredded sprouts and chilli. Delish. It sounds odd but it was quite possibly the tastiest pizza I've had in quite some time.  Sprouts on pizza is a definite winner, just like tempura sprouts earlier in the year. Is there anything this vegetable can't do. Yum!
